Hey everyone,
I am running SuSE SLES9 x86_64, but using the 32bit openSuSE package '
NX-1.5.0-90.1' with 'FreeNX-0.5.0-19.3'. The 64bit version was seg faulting
when a client would connect. Also using the nomachine client, version
2.1.0-17
under Ubuntu. I have things configured so that it launches a single
application upon connection, '/usr/bin/xterm'. This comes up without
issue. However, I try to launch the Citrix ICA client my connection
gets dropped.
The connection is not lost though. I can reconnect and find it's
'suspended'. The windows appear again for a brief
moment before getting 'suspended' again. I bumped up the debugging level
for the nxserver and my log looks as
follows:
NX> 1000 NXNODE - Version 1.5.0-50 OS (GPL)
NX> 700 Session id: xxxxxx-1005-7D079A0730CDF40E1904D927BE9CD78E
NX> 705 Session display: 1005
NX> 703 Session type: unix-application
NX> 701 Proxy cookie: 62da0fb51c52d95cc3cc041a6f6c74eb
NX> 702 Proxy IP: 127.0.0.1
NX> 706 Agent cookie: 62da0fb51c52d95cc3cc041a6f6c74eb
NX> 704 Session cache: unix-application
NX> 707 SSL tunneling: 1
NX> 710 Session status: running
NX> 1002 Commit
NX> 1006 Session status: running
NX> 105 bye
Bye
NX> 999 Bye
NX> 1005 Session status: suspended
Any ideas what the problem is or methods of gathering more log information?
I was thinking of modifying the FreeNX script that calls the nxserver to
retrieve an strace dump but wanted to see if there was something easier I
was missing first.
Thanks,
Nick
