Hey Rouven,

that sounded very reasonable. When trying out VNC as an alternative I
had the same problem and made it work by changing the font path for
vnc.conf.

But here it still doesn't work. I had the logging directive set to 7
all the time and it didn't complain about the fixed font.

Now I have tried it anyway. Put in the font path from you, restarted
nxserver and it still is the same. The question is how is it related
to authentication? The user can log in with ssh as before - no changes
there. The disconnection happens in the X session stage, but still,
the local log prepends AUTH to the warning.

I wish I knew where to look. Is it auth.log?
