I work now for one week over a DSL line with FreeNX and the
performance let me forget that I work remote. But I don't use VPN, I
have only forwarded the ssh port from the FreeNX intranet server to a
port of a box on the internet and it works, ...  perfectly :)

I am curious, how the performance will be with 30 users on the lan.
