Then you are not using the original Knoppix 3.6, which _had_ no ugly xdialog 
message, because that part was not programmed then, yet. ;-)

There is an undocumented parameter:

nxserver --list-suspended <user>, which shows all suspended sessions of the 
user <user>

The Windows 1.3.x client does not support suspend/resume, yet.

However there is a flag in /usr/bin/nxserver at least since 0.2.4 (maybe 
earlier) called: ENABLE_AUTORESUME_BEFORE_140="1", which should make clients 
before 1.4.0 automatically resume, which did work for one using MacOSX.

I believe you need to upgrade to that version.
