[FreeNX-kNX] no keyboard!

Have you tried a different NX client?  A known good NX client and OS
environment is Knoppix 3.6:

Download the .iso, burn it to CD, and reboot your SUSE box with the CD
in the drive.  Once Knoppix boots and the desktop loads, launch the NX
client and see it works any better for you.

Let us know whether or not that helps.
