Thanks for the mockup. That looks like a good idea.

Do you know if most feeds can provide a picture ? If that is not the case, you 
could also consider a list view instead of a grid.

Please do not hesitate to share your ongoing work using a merge request on the 
invent.kde.org server. It should be easy to create an account on it.
That way, we will be able to provide early feedback and help.
