ExifTool not found.

Just install DigiKam 8.5 on Ubuntu 24.04.1.   Installed using the 
AppCenter app that come with Ubuntu.   This tool recently added the 
DigiKam 8.5 version from the prior 8.2 that I had.

When I start the new 8.5 I get the message that Exiftool can not be 
found.   When I click on find,  Digikam crashes.

Exiftool is installed.   From a command box exiftool is found and will 
query photos.   Exiftool was installed with the standard command lines 
for installing everything.

I saw there was a previous bug report on a similar issues and some 
comments from others with the exact same issue as mine.  Same Ubuntu, 
same DigiKam,   I was not able to reopen the issue.

Does anyone know of a solution to this issue.
