Kde environment becomes unresponsive after launching Digikam appimage

Hi Marc,

I don't know what the AppImageLauncher does and works exactly. However, we had
to remove the call to KService in the AppImage and replace it with something
of our own. KService creates and manages KDE's Mime database to connect mime
types to applications. When we tried to get an application (Open With...) to a
mime type, digiKam completely froze and KService ran in circles.

The problem only occurred when the desktop was running a relatively current
KF5 version.
