[digiKam-users] How to rename file extension?

I'm sure this is a daft question, but I cannot work out how to rename 
the extension of a file from within digiKam. I have a bunch of pics with 
mixed jpg and jpeg extensions and I want to rename the .jpeg extensions 
to .jpg.

Nothing I do appears to be able to affect the extension.
