You could try

[file].[ext]{replace:"jpeg","jpg",i} 

in the file rename dialog (F2), after selecting all the files with "jpeg" 
extension. Note the dot between [file] and [ext].

Also, keep in mind that changing extensions can cause problems (not likely in 
this case).
