[digiKam-users] Need help connecting to an existing SQL DB

Yes it is.  I started with a windows and mac but had issues with “local” being slightly different (in US), it kept rebuilding the database each time I switched, so for now I have two windows 10 boxes accessing.  The database is on a synology NAS, served by Mariadb.  I think I could make the mac play nice if the “locale” check had a choice to “ignore”.
