Hi James,

The import from scanner use Sane interface which is mostly a Linux project.

in digiKam we have a plugin based on libksane to play with Sane interface.

Under Windows, Sane interface do not compile. libksane use TWain
instead, but actually, libksane do not compile for Windows using cross
compiler (we compile whole digiKam stand alone Windows installer under
Linux).

We have another compilation workflow using native Microsoft compiler
where libksane compile fine,

...but it's not yet finalized to provide the UWP target yet (Windows
Store Application). I hope to be able to fix this for next 7.0.0 final
release planned in few weeks.

So, please be patient...

Based on reading the documentation, I expected to find an item under IMPORT that would show SCANNER and let me configure my input from Digikam. I wonder if because I am using Win 10 Pro, perhaps it is not supported.
