directly in images or in sidecar files?

I would be interested by a way to sync a mariadb database with sidecar 
files, because it's very simple to sync sidecar (very small size)

I'm not able to programm and app, but I read sql and scripts

an algorithm would be nice, coding a script from it could be simple
