Failed to create tables in database

[WILDLIFE-HELP A.N.]

Hi All,


I am quite a newbie to digiKam, I am experiencing problems when I open digiKam.


It gives me an error message which reads "Failed to create tables in database".


My database is stored on an external hard drive.


Any advice would be appreciated.
