Hi,
First Q : which DK version do you use ?
2 => I'm sure that iMatch interroperability is not implemented in source
code, but with 5.0.0 we have introduced a tool to customize the
interroperability between metadata and database.

In this screenshot you can see the setting to backport ACDsee tags in DK.
So, i recommend to make a try with digiKam 5.0.0 for Windows.
The 32 bits installer is ready to download :
