[Digikam-users] Disable scan on startup?!

Hey,

correct it is the registration during the splash screen.
But actually (as I am trying to work via VPN right now) without having the
thumbs locally the performance is anyway not good enough.
I mean to say, I realize that even with a faster start up, I will not be
able to work remotely.

In case you have some tweaks I'm happy to try them, if not I have to work
at home ;)
