[Digikam-users] Disable scan on startup?!

Hi,

Yes, since 3.x release (if i remember), scan at startup option have
been removed.

In fact the scan with version < 3.x was completed during splash-screen
and application taken a while to start.

With 3.x, only directory scan is processed with splash-screen, and
after digiKam init, the album contents is processed in background. You
can see the progress indicator on bottom right of albumgui.

Sound like in your context, you want to disable album registration in
database when splas-screen is visible. Right ?
