[Digikam-users] Digikam very slow with icons in tags

Hallo

Today I had a strange problem. All of a sudden my digikam becomes very
slow on selecting photos (multi-selections) and setting tags. I checked
this with a different user which does not have this problems. After
removing all digikam configuration files (I have backups fore sure) but
leaving my digikam DBs the speed is back.

Doing a little here and there I tried to set tags to some pictures and
as soon as I opend my "persons" tag folder the speed is down as before
removing the digikam config files. The only difference with the persons
tag folder is the icon. I had set them to different icon (in very old
digikam days it was the one with two pawn in a game (? Spielfiguren in
german). But in newer versions of DK this icon is missing. Resetting the
icons brought back my speed.

Just to let you know if someone else got this problem.
