hello dear Marie

Many thanks for the help - i tried to figure out which tasks are possible
with thebatch programme.
and after loading some hundred files into a queue i wondered why the batch
does notdo this simple task
of course i know how to move & copy files from oone folder to another...

but - as you allready pointet out the strenth of the batch and of digikam
itself is

if you have to choose hundreds or thousands of images alongside yoour work
- within a short time - then
yes then you probably choose (and prefer) the digikam and batch way over
the scripting or doing it manually way.

Since the Selecting-process and the copy or move-process will fall into
allmost one process and step.

you can work much much quicker this way...

many thanks dear marie for doings such agreat work here - and for helping
out in this forums

btw - your spelling and wording is great!

greetings
martin
