[Digikam-users] the batch-programme does not want to process my first simple task (storing in a new folder - nothing more; -)

Moving pictures (or copying them) to another folder doesn't require the
batch tool. You just have to select the pictures, then right-click on one
of them, and select "Move" (I'm translating from french, so the wording
might slightly different).
But if you want to modify/edit them, the batch tool allows you to chose a
destination folder, so you don't override the initial pictures.
