[Digikam-users] Can the calendar use the EXIF date?

I just realised the calendar that is in the left column uses the file
creation date, and not the original (shooting) date, that is in the EXIF.
As I usually don't edit the raw pictures on the shooting day, RAW and JPEG
appear on completely different days.

Is there a way to set up this otherwise, so all the files created from the
same original picture appear on the same day in the calendar?
