[Digikam-users] Empty Albums

I don't know if this will help, but I ran into a similar problem once.

When I upgraded KDE from a repository and had digikam compiled from
sources, digikam stopped showing photos entirely in the album view.
It worked fine importing photos. Apparently, the problem was because
digikam pulled in file information from KDE, and the upgrade confused
things between the two (different version references or something).

If some of your albums do show photos, but others don't, this is
probably not the same problem.

In any case, writing your tags, etc. to the files and backing up your
photos/database is probably a good idea!

Cheers,
Vivek
