I just following this thread since a long time without post message.

Jens, your remark about Reiserfs bring me (:=))). i remeber than M$ would to implement a new FS with Win Vista to perform advanced search into files... I'm not sure but i think this project have been avorted...

If i remember, reiserfs 4 is dedicaced to have this fonctionality. It's a reallity ?

Since reiserfs 4 sounds like to be a non-future FS (Reiser human problems ? look google), is ext4 can do it ?
