.. well if you are a designer working on Mac and prepare or modify
presentation templates for both Mac and MS Office users in MS Formats
then it matters a lot.
Also many users still don't export presentations to pdf and if they
are forced to use a local MS Windows/GNU Linux machine for their
presentation, then they are doomed because of the compatibility
issues.
