It is very seldom a requirement for presentations. MSO compatibility is
mostly useful for text documents and spreadsheets that tend to be widely
shared and used in collaborative settings, and across organisations, which
require the use of a "standard", while presentations are more personal,
and at best, you need to share it with your coworkers, in which case,
using
whatever standard your company/organisation has defined is acceptable.
