Fedora tray icon disappeared with 2.3.1?

I don't use Fedora so I don't know if it is distribution specific, but
did you check if you have all Oxygen icons installed? Some
distributions split the oxygen-theme package for space reasons on the
CD, so maybe look for an extra package for this theme.
