urgent testing before tagging needed

More specifically...

I think I found the reason that incremental scanning would sometimes
"lose" tracks from the collection when things were added or deleted,
with the only way to bring them back being a full rescan.

So, there are really two separate test cases that would be really good
to try out. Please start out with a full rescan, to normalize the
database before doing the incremental testing (in case this bug caused
havoc in your collection already).

1) Full rescans -- make sure everything appears normal.
2) Incremental scans -- try adding and removing bits to your collection
and see if things disappear unexpectedly (as well as making sure what
you're adding/removing does indeed change).
