urgent testing before tagging needed

Heya folks :)

Jeff just found and fixed a really nasty bug with collection scanning.
It would be really awesome if those of you compiling from git could
update asap and give it some testing and let us know if there are any
problems. We want to tag 2.2 final on Monday so the more testing we
can get right now the better.
