Correct.

Yes that works. I can also drag from Nautilus to Amarok directly --
either single songs or an entire directory. It's faster to preview an
entire directory (e.g. an album) in Amarok than with Nautilus.
What I'm finding is I want to be able to add to multiple play lists as
I go through the collection. So what I have is a few folders on my
desktop where I drag symlinks. Then I use those to create the final
playlist.

I'm building a playlist for an eight hour party. No, not the kind
that needs a DJ. And the group will span the 2 to 60 years old age so
need to have a wide mix and something for everyone. If it was just a
playlist for me that would be easier.
What I'm missing is a late dance collection for the middle-agers that
always seem to stay to the end. I only have so much ABBA. ;)
