You are hitting one of my favorite misconceptions here. Changing the
context view to what is described in those mockups will take away one
of the fundamental differences between the context tab in Amarok 1.4.x
and the new context view in Amarok 2, which was actually one of the
reasons for doing this change at all. We can now show context
information about not only what is currently playing, but also about
stuff that you are "browsing". While you can argue that this is not
something that is fully utilized just yet in current versions of
Amarok 2, I think it is very important for the services. Try adding
the Service Info applet and start using the Magnatune store for
instance. This will get you information about artists and albums that
you are browsing, and the frontage lets the services show whatever
custom info they need.

So for this reason, I think at least that part of your proposal is bad
idea as it basically takes us back to what we had in Amarok 1.4.x, and
we moved away from that for a reason.
