Transfer m3u to media device

I hope this has not been asked too many times. I have a sansa c240 which acts 
like a generic drive. When I transfer playlists over to the device I can not 
find any way to transfer the m3u file over too. Apparently there is no way to 
do this in Amarok 1.4.7. If there is a way please tell me. I'm fine with a 
script if there is one that is what is takes to make a m3u out of the files 
transferred. I can't just copy the m3u over because Amarok renames the files 
on the transfer. 

Will this be possible in Amarok 2.0? I guess you could consider this a feature 
request. Maybe this could be part of somebody's GSoC with media devices or 
something. But this is one feature I would really enjoy as it is a lot of 
work to make the playlists manually on the player (rockbox).
