How to test latest Amarok 2?

I'm not a developer, but as someone said before Amarok2 isn't in alpha
yet and many things are YET to be implemented. I think the podcast
functionality you talk about will be done, just wait until it's
finished :).

The way I compiled Amarok2 was to follow the instructions for setting
up a build environment on techbase.kde.org, to get a working user
installation of kde (not installing to main system) and then building
amarok like any other application in the guide.
