multiple instances of amarokapp

Hi all,

I tend to leave amarok running in the background on my system, even
when I am not listening to music. But just now I noticed that there
are *seven* instances of amarokapp running, using upwards of 800MB of
virtual memory. Here is a screenshot from the gnome system monitor:

As you can see, they were all started at the same time on Friday.

Is this normal?

I am running v1.4.0 under FC5.
