Remote and Removable Collections

Currently, Maximilian Kossick (maxx_k), Ian Monroe (eean) and I
(andrewt512) are working on designing Amarok's support for Remote
Collections and integrating Media Devices into the Collection Browser.

We have set up a wiki page to detail some of our thoughts (that we
don't all necessarily agree on yet) at:

This email is just to let everyone know the current status, and to
suggest that if anyone has any ideas of potential problems or
solutions, or feels they can help, that they should get involved.

In particular, aumuell, I understand you have a few ideas on how it
should be done. It would be good to debate the merits of our
approaches, to see if we can work out something even better.
