You're opening a can of worms here. For various reasons some of us
(not all) are against offering too many customization options. I won't
go into detail here, but I find it important to have a consistent
"branded look" for an application, much like (sorry to say) iTunes
has.

Please let's not get into endless bikeshedding mode here again,
especially not at this point, as we have to focus on the 2.2.1
release. This topic is guaranteed to provoke controversy.


PS:
I'm starting to believe that a special "amarok-artwork" list could be
a good idea. Lately this list here has become too unfocused from
actual development. On a special list we could discuss everything in
much detail, which is not so desirable here.
