i think this is really important and needs to be done. 1.2 support is going to 
be necessary in the future anyway.... check out the code of the last.fm 
player for the implementation of the 1.2 protocol.

Well, feel free to poke around in the contextview :) my time is very limited 
unfortunately (i have finals now) but it does need a considerable amount of 
love. it also takes some getting used to the design of plasma... but feel 
free to barrage me with questions.
