The upload will be primarily from tablets. My plan so far is that the
files will be stored in the cloud and downloaded to the device as
needed. I'd like to make it transparently without annoying dialogs.
But there may be some problems with larger files and latency, so some
sort of progress bar may be needed.

The work is at the very beginning and before any programming I have to
do a lot of planning and some research. This proposal has been written
to let you know that someone is planning to do this. And I'm looking
for some reactions so I know what the others want. It's easier change
the plans at the beginning than later on.

Deadline for submitting whole Master's thesis is on turn of
November/December. I would like to have the practical part done well
before the deadline and have time to write the text.
