Here is my part regarding the usability...pick whatever is suitable.

We observed a lot of people using Plasma Active, we listened to them and 
we interviewed them to get important feedback. Since PA1 we invested 
heavily to improve usability and enhance the user flow to magnify the 
joy of use even more:

- Enhanced touch functionality throughout the UI to ensure better flow, 
better perception and usage of features. One example is the easier 
dragging of the top bar.

- Overall usability optimization through larger consistency in the 
interaction principles of the UI elements to ensure conformity with user 
expectations

- Strengthen the concept of smart defaults to support the user in the 
mobile context as best as we can

- Adapted interaction of the activity switcher for easy touch and 
scroll, even with a small amount of activities

- Horizontal and now also vertical expanding of resource boxes on the 
activity screen to adapt to the users individual needs

- Smoothing out the font sizes for better visual coherence

- New feature of locking, sleep and shutdown functionality via hardware 
and software button to ensure compatible functionality throughout the 
device spectrum
