Hi all
I downloaded the nightly release a few moments ago, for windows, listed in the subject line. I wanted to run linear regression.
it went okay the first time i downloaded and opened the program, well, it opened okay. I had some trouble closing it. I think i might have opened two versions by accident. I eventually closed them. Now when i open rkward, I got a box that says, r engine has died. Error during handshake with backend process. Expected token, received token (bunch of numbers)
The first time i had opened rkward, i wanted to do regression, i started, then the program said i needed a component, and asked me to chose a location. I chose MI, and got some error, i was going to try again to see if i could get the same error so i could copy and post to this list.
Ah, sorry, I didn't describe the whole process completely .

I ran regression again, without any problem. It didn't ask to install another component.
Ah, it's regression with standardized coefficients that asks for the component. I got a box that says "The r backend has indicated that in order to carry out the current task it needs the package lm.beta which is not currently installed.
I asked again for USA: MI and got a box saying there are errors or warnings. Warning, unable to access index for repository, http://files.kde.org/rkward/R/bin/windows/contrib/4.2

Is this enough information?
