[Ktechlab-devel] About animated current in wires

Hi, I thought the idea of having the wires animated to show the strength
of the current an interesting idea. An example of this in action can be
found in the LiveWire software. Having used this I found it did help in
understanding what was going on in the circuit at a lower level. Here's
the link for anyone interested in implementing it:

If I remember, the amount of current is simulated by colouring the wires
green for high current and fading into red as the current decreases. And
as the current diminishes, the wires give the effect of slowing down by
using small segments flowing along the wires at a certain speed. Pretty
nifty, I will have to get onto my windows box to double check the exact
functionality but I think it works really well. William.
