[FreeNX-kNX] poor performance over ADSL - what settings are best?

The only solution I see is that you connect to your desktop session via NX.

I.e. make a passwordless user, which just starts nxclient as .Xsession.

Then use fullscreen NX Client to connect to your session.

x11NX would not be possible. See a Xserver is a very complex building. You 
would need to transfer the whole contents of the Xserver to a nxagent 
instance.

While x11vnc "just" reads some bitmaps, encodes them and sends them over the 
NET.

The protocol of VNC is called RFB, which means Remote FrameBuffer and VNC is 
not more or less than that.
