[FreeNX-kNX] poor performance over ADSL - what settings are best?

yes I know (I've written it above) :)

but "VNC over NX" performance wouldn't be the same as if I started my 
desktop session in NX only, right?

so a program like "x11NX" (which doesn't exist; it would be similar to 
x11vnc, which creates a VNC session from a current desktop/X session) 
would come handy in this situation.
or maybe there is some other way to do it?
