According to http://trac.webkit.org/wiki/QtWebKitMediaElementSupport
QtMultimedia is in a way just like Phonon that it only acts as a wrapper 
around GStreamer/DirectShow/QuickTime.
So with Phonon being a wrapper around GStreamer and QtMultimedia as well, 
shouldn't that be exactly like two applications using GStreamer directly?
