Hi,
I have been an avid kde user for many years and I love the way multiple
monitors can be managed in the settings.
What I am missing is an option to visually merge the monitors.
On the one hand I would like to have a single background image and on the
other hand I miss the possibility to maximize a window across all screens.
I heavily use the virtual workspaces and my windows usually have their fixed
position and size. Mostly I want to maximize windows in one direction.
That's why I changed the double-click on the window bar to maximize
vertically.
With the console windows, I often want to maximize them horizontally. This is
normally done by right-clicking on the maximize button - however, this does
not work as desired for me.
I have 3 monitors next to each other in portrait mode and maximizing a window
only works within one monitor.
Would it be possible to add an option to visibly merge the monitors?
Each monitor would then only show part of the screen (depending on the display
settings)
