It happens in both Qt and GTK apps, from GIMP to Kate.

It happens in both browsers.

I'm using the Spanish-latam keyboard distribution.

I'm not using any Advanced Setting at the moment, although randomly trying
'Caps Lock uses internal capitalization; Shift "pauses" Caps Lock' seems to
unlock the space bar when activating Caps-Lock, or when keeping Shift pressed
while typing (to temporarily type in uppercase or lowercase).
