SUMMARY
Every boot my mouse pointer speed is very slow. In the mouse system settings
the pointer speed is shown as the correct setting, however it doesn't match the
correct speed.

After changing the pointer speed the mouse behaves correctly again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot into KDE
2. Experience slow mouse pointer speed

OBSERVED RESULT

A slow mouse pointer.

EXPECTED RESULT

The last set pointer speed in the settings module.
