Well, the installing doesn't take too long, it just doesn't work at all.
That's caused by a regression in konsole, see
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=990353 and bug#366793.

Cancel shouldn't cause a crash though, it doesn't here.
Can you provide a backtrace please?
