i have a very similar problem. as this seems to contain to this bug, i add my
information here.
pinentry for GPG used in kmail doesn't use the gtk theme i selected. before a
different style was used. Sorry, but i can't remember if it was the right one,
but it definitly was an other one than now.
I upgraded from 4.5.5 to 4.6 using Kubuntu PPA Backports on Kubuntu 10.10
