I just saw this in the mail pile ...sorry about delay.  dunno why OR did not
respond (but will query on MDV Bugzilla).
The reporter uses KDE 4.3.* with Mandriva 2010.1 release and did not have 4.5.*
available. AFAIK that has not changed.
Because it is an accessibility item(serial port mouse-pointer for people with
hampered mobility in arms &|R hands) no one at Mandriva has been able to test
for it on cooker(development version) which has KDE 4.5.80-*. AFAIK, no one has
any real serial port pointers(i.e., usb and ps2 won't do).
