YES YES YES :o) All of my cpu- and memory problems are totally solved in the
new Kubuntu 9.10 RC1 Memory use ajusts up and down as it should and after the
update from 9.10 beta 5 i've run for hours and everything words exactly as it
should - it must be the upgrade to Kde-4.3.3 that did the magic - I hope this
update works for all of you too.

Have to go... to pop the champaigne - cheers mates ;o)
